This Monday, June 3rd at 7:30pm, please join us for a transformative circle prayer practice of Remembrance, and an activation of the divine healing attribute of Forgiveness through devotional music and movement. All are welcome! If this is your first time, please wear comfortable, modest clothing and thick socks for ease of floor movement. If you are unable to stand in the circle or engage in the physical movements, know you can still fully participate by simply sitting in a chair or bench.

The Estag’firullah Zikr is intended to be a spiritually healing prayer experience. Please open your heart- the need is great. We sing, move, be together in prayer to help each other polish our hearts, clarify our minds, and remember the ways we are intimately connected to God. Here we have a way to open our hearts and hands to the source of healing, and to all in need simultaneously. This is the essence of the Whirling, and one certainly need not get dizzy to participate. Feel free to invite friends whom may be interested. It is a wonderful opportunity for those new to whirling, or for those with questions about the practice.

The Mevlevi Order of America offers cultural programs, open workshops, and public presentations in the spirit of inclusion, equality and love, under the inspiration of Suleyman Hayati Dede, and the guidance of his son and successor Postneshin Jelaleddin Loras. Read more at Hayatidede.org.
